Great atmosphere. Great food and tapas. It’s nice to have a wine bar that has a good variety with a unique emphasis on Latin American wine. One of the best wine bars around.

Food, service and atmosphere never misses. One of our favorite restaurants!

Started off slow but finished off strong!

We arrived a little after 4pm on a Saturday. It appeared that there were two staffers - both very hospitable. We were seated indoors right away (with a choice of in or outside). We received food, wine, and flight menus, but there was a lag to have our order taken (probably 10 minutes). However, closer to 5pm, there was a clear increase in the number of staff.

We ordered::: truffled devil eggs, bacon wrapped dates, lamb sliders, bread/cheese balls, and a charcuterie board in additions to a few different flights of wine.

Truffle deviled eggs - I’d skip. Super bland and no sign of truffle.

Bacon wrapped dates - we received the first order and hit a second. It was that good!! Highly recommend you pair it with their Zuccardi Torrontes (an Argentinian white). The flavor profile is killer.

Lamb sliders - fantastic! Great grill flavor with perfect accents. Pair with the Casa Silva Carménère. Chefs kiss.

Bread and cheese balls - these were good, but unexpected. When they arrived, they looked like meatballs. Super savory and good but likely wouldn’t get again.

Charcuterie - great deal! We assumed that with the tapas sizing, this would be a smaller board. It wasn’t! Lots of different components that we didn’t make a dent in. Went perfectly with red, white, and rosé flights.

We purchased a bottle of wine to go, and the person helping us was super knowledgeable and helpful.

In all, the somewhat lagging initial service truly didn’t last long. It picked up quickly and was outstanding. Would absolutely return!

Absolutely delicious! We had all kinds of tapas: the potatoes, the tuna!!!, the paella , the chicken, EVERYTHING was super. The service was great( thanks Kayla and Alana) and the wine was superb. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We’ll be back for sure

We tried several of the tapas and everything exceeded our expectations. The wine selection is extensive.

Cute spot for date night or a semi casual hangout with friends. Definitely tight and packs up quickly. They do not take reservations so it's a first come first serve deal. You can wait at the bar until your table is ready but bar seating is also very limited.

Tasty tapas! Not suitable for large groups.

Parking: There is lots of parking and it’s free but it can get really busy.

Nice wine list, excellent tapas - fun way to enjoy a variety of flavors. The Cava on their list is excellent. The Affagato dessert is delicious, amazingly simple combination that works really well. Service is very friendly.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, and if you can have dairy, there are some options with cheese.

Kid-friendliness: Not really...I'm sure kids are welcome, but I think most would be bored

If you’re looking for a place where the wine flows red like Dracula’s next meal, then make Vinos Finos Tapas and Wine Bar in Lafayette Village your next haunt. I recently enjoyed a ghostly "flight" called the European Connection, which whisked me through France, Spain, and Italy—a white and two reds that knocked my socks (and cape) off.

The tastings were top-notch, the ambiance perfect for sipping, and the staff? So attentive, it felt like they were hovering to see if I might be their next tasty treat. Better to be overly served than left to rot in a darkened crypt.

For a fang-tastic night out, consider Vinos Finos Wineos approved by the staff of the Cool Ghoul Gazette. Cheers and enjoy a Happy Hallowine!

Service was extremely sub par. We were sitting outside on the back deck and had multiple interruptions by various service staff in the demeanor of wanting us to wrap up. Service staff began locking up chairs and closing up outside at 7:30 pm, two hours before closing time without speaking to us, clearing our table, etc. The bill was very pricey for the service especially. Our table was not cleared at all while service staff were closing up outside and the most disturbing part was at 7:45pm service staff visibly (and we checked) locked the door from the patio to the restaurant. Again, very distasteful and callous service.

The wine and food are delish but I am not sure about the culture or environment. Our servers were tending to our table in such a rushed manner. The urgency in which they served us was met with a smile but just seemed odd. The restaurant is small so rushing off to another table did not seem appropriate. We ordered a bottle of wine and were expecting a bit more of a formal approach. Also the two guys at the table next to us literally got up and walked off to start trouble with a car in the parking lot and almost started a fight with a women just because she had her car lights on while waiting for to go food which everyone does. The patio literally sits in front of a parking lot…it is to be expected. And it almost seemed like there was acceptance from the restaurant for this belligerent behavior. I expect more from a wine bar in Lafayette. This should be a peaceful environment to enjoy good wine and food. When there were only a few tables outside, I don’t recall experiencing any of this.
