Friendly service, clean tabled and decent chicken for the price. As a truck stop environment with McDonald's next door, turnover of the product probably doesn't happen as often as in other venues. Fairly crispy pieces but not as fresh from being kept under heat lamps before being served.
Best food I've had ALL YEAR!! The apple pies were delicious, as well as the chicken! Jerry was our server and he was EXTREMELY helpful. We had been driving all day from a wedding in Alabama and stopped in for gas. Jerry explained all the different menu options and was super courteous. He even made us some pies right out of the oven!! Did not expect to be so surprised!!!! Thanks Jerry!!

This was my grandmother's favorite chicken when I was growing up in Indiana. I stopped at the Love's truck stop specifically for this chicken because my dad had never had it. He said it was the best strips he's had in his life and it was great for me to take a walk down memory lane eating the fried chicken.
