I felt welcomed by the staff.
Vegetarian options: Wendy's is one of the few restaurants to offer a veggie sandwich. I think it is like a jr deluxe without a patty. I normally ask for no mayo, no cheese to ensure it falls into my lactose-free, vegetarian diet.
