Step back in time to the good old days when you visit this restaurant. Pretty much, this restaurant probably hasn't changed over the many years its been here. The helpings are plentiful, the menu is big, the prices are great, and service is outstanding. Southern Gals has a great and tasty breakfast offerings. The locals line up for their famous once a week meatloaf. Everything on the menu is delicious and tastes home made. The atmosphere may not be the best for todays standards, but it sure brings back memories of the past with the great offerings of food and the friendly service that makes you feel like family.

I was raised here in robbinsville but moved away to Washington state for nearly 9 1/2 years when I moved back to robbinsville every one raved about this place that it was so good.. well I finally go and it wasn't the best... the food is very cheap yet they charge u alot for fried picked for example cost almost 7$ç n u only get 4 pickles that aren't even good cause they are spear shaped n very soggy ...but how they get off chagrin that much for them u can buy almost 2 jars of pickles for that price

Sign says closes at 2:00 on Saturdays. We were there at 1:15. Said they were closed. How do you close at 1:15 when it says 2:00.

Stopped by for a pancake breakfast and they didn't disappoint. Ordered pancakes and sausage with a sweet tea. It was all really good, reasonably priced and great customer service. The building is a little dated but overall great experience.

I had lunch there about a year ago. My fish sandwich was so overcooked it was hard to eat, no flavor.

I ordered chicken cheese nachos for $9 and a side of tater tots. The chicken cheese nachos was basically 7 or 8 nacho chips with a drizzle of white cheese and 5-6 small cubes of chicken (basically kids size portion). The tater tots tasted like something fell in the fryer like cleaning detergent or brake parts cleaner. I ate a half a tater tot and had others at my table taste them and they all agreed they tasted funny. I pushed it off to the side and did not eat anymore. Went up the street to Wendy's afterwards and got a burger. Been to this Southern Gals place twice now and both times I was disappointed. I tried convincing my friends to not go there on this most visit but they said maybe my last experience was just a fluke and I should give them a second chance. Nope still bad tasting food and very slow service. Took almost an hour and half for our lunch for our group.
