Bright Penny Brewing Outpost Rocky Mount

This place has a great atmosphere in the Rocky Mount Mills campus. It wasn’t busy when we got there around 5:30 but it picked up when karaoke started at 7:30. The ability to have the beer and sit in the large spaces outside the brewery were great. The hostess was extremely nice. I cannot wait to return!

Come here for an awesome Old Fashioned. Friendly staff. This is the speakeasy of Rocky Mount. Charity is an awesome bartender.

We came to Bright Penny after securing our spot overnight with the Harvest Hosts program. If you're looking for a brewery with a ton of drink options, look no further! They need to add that they serve TONS of bourbons and whiskeyd. They have slushies ( both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). There's a decent list of handcrafted beer available. Seriously, if you can't find something that tickles your fancy, there's a problem. I had a Japanese Whiskey while my hubby had wheat beer. Both were fabulous. This is a great little establishment!

My friend and I stopped by Bright Penny for lunch today while we were visiting Mebane and it did not disappoint! Their pizza options all looked so delicious and there were so many to choose from that I took forever to decide on which one to get! If you enjoy spicy food, I highly recommend the 4-1-2 pizza. It was absolutely amazing! They have all types of beer and a good selection of each type. I am already excited to eat here again!

No host to seat you, no table service and long lines. people are hovering over tables like vultures. The servers look miserable wandering around with food asking who ordered it because everyone orders on an app. In this anarchy, rudeness is rewarded and clientele excel at it. Really too bad since the food is decent.

Bright Penny has THE BEST BEER and Old Fashioneds! The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing. It is located in The Mills so you can grab a cup and walk around with it or you can sit at the bar and chat up the friendly bartenders or the owner. Everyone is so welcoming! They make you feel like family. If you haven't been, you need to check it out!

Whether it be the food, the brews, or the friendly atmosphere I can’t recommend Bright Penny enough. This gem in Mebane is an absolute must! Their deviled eggs menu is worth the trip. My family loves the Lobster Seafood Dip and my personal favorite is the classic Pepperoni Pizza with Bacio Mozzerella. So much so, that I always order a second one for the road. The cheese pull alone will have you running back to their spacious Beer Garden for another satisfying bite.

Great service and beer. Nice location with outdoor seating with a laid back vibe. Pineapple hard seltzer for the hubby and a stout for myself. Very good even in the heat of the summer.
