Jack's at Rocky Mount Mills

I have been coming to jacks since tap room 1918 left. I support this business every week. I really enjoy the weekly specials but they REFUSE to substitute fries for chips. I don't like fries and really enjoy the chips. This is crazy how a business cannot accommodate a customer. I guess they want me to order a side of chips and throw away the fries. Just crazy

Fantastic Food, Atmosphere & Service At Jack’s at Rocky Mount Mills…We Tried A Couple Of The Small Plates, The Macaroni & Cheese & The Baked Brie With Some French Onion Soup…Y’all It Was Fantastic, As Was Our Very Attentive Server. This Was Our First Visit To Jack’s, But Certainly Won’t Be Our Last.

The food was amazing, I loved the atmosphere and the different scenery! The Brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever had! Rib plate is HUGE!

Ian was a great bartender! Met us with great non alcoholic options. 10/10 do recommend

To be honest, my first experience there was not the greatest. So I came back again and gave them a 2nd chance. This 2nd chance was a game changer, I ordered the pork chop with brussels sprouts and the cream spinach... honestly, the porkchop was cooked to perfection ?. I will return back I want to try the Tuna. See you soon....

Our waitress Rebecha was working the bar, as well as our bar table and after several minutes of trying to get her attention, I went up to the bar to order my beer. I ordered ribs and my sides were the haystack onions and risotto. The onions were barely warm, and the risotto was cold. I told our waitress and she immediately tried to take my whole plate away. I expected her to just bring me a bowl of hot risotto. I mean why should I be inconvenienced??? You take away my plate, and my wife continues to eat while I sit with nothing? Rebecca didn’t apologize for the issue with cold food, only acted put out! My wife’s pasta dish was hot and tasty, but the way she handled the whole cold food problem was unprofessional.

My wife and I went here on a Friday evening. The food was very good and the atmosphere was exceptional. The service started out very good, but once the meals were delivered, the waitress did not return until we were about 1/3 rd finished. So there was a delay before we could request salt and pepper and water refills. My only suggestion to management would be to have all servers check a few minutes after the meal is delivered to receive a 4 or 5 star service rating.

OK! This restaurant to me is a little unusual because of the food menu not very much to choose from and somewhat pricey. I'll go ahead and tell ya, Get the rack of ribs best deal there.

Such a bad experience! We went there as a large group. I was thoroughly disappointed. The pasta was excessively salty, to the point where it was nearly inedible. I brought this to the attention of the manager, who was unhelpful and dismissive. They didn’t seem to care about the quality of the food or customer satisfaction. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I won't be returning.

Menu options are amazing and great atmosphere. Our waitress Mackenzie made our first time at Jacks a great experience!

Wasn’t having the best day but my waitress Mackenzie made it so much better with her sweet personality and amazing food recommendations!! A new favorite place and I will definitely be returning!
