“I am very disappointed in writing this negative review. We normally love El Jimador and always eat here for date night or family dinners out. On Saturday 2/17 at 12pm I spoke to someone at the restaurant to reserve a table for 4pm that day for a party of 13. It was confirmed by the employee no problem. The party arrived at 4pm and apparently the young lady wrote the reservation for the wrong date. We were told our table would be ready shortly. Twenty minutes later I went and asked again and the rude girl said "I told the other lady it would be ready in ten minutes". She didn't say that. She then proceeded to stare at me rudely through the glass doors. A man said the customers at the only area for big parties was finishing up and he couldn't make them leave. Finally at 4:45 we were seated. Six members of the party received their food within a decent time. The child's food finally came towards the end (a cheese quesadilla and fries). A simple meal for a child should always come out first. We had one kid eating and two waiting. When we were all done eating and after asking several times the last two party members finally received their food. Then someone decided to give our waitress for a table of 13 another table of about 20 people so we didn't see her for awhile because she was so busy. She did great, considering. We never received an official apology. This was a terrible experience for our out of town guests. Update: manager reached out to me via pm. Very apologetic and would like to make things right. “? El Jimador is our go to restaurant for sure considering it is the BEST Mexican restaurant around in our opinion. From the time we enter the doors this restaurant is amazing. Upon arriving we are always greeted with smiles, a cozy atmosphere, fast seating and fast service. After being seated the waiter/waitress starts everyone off with homemade chips, salsa and white sauce. The white sauce is like nothing I have ever seen at other Mexican restaurants. It is so delicious and pairs well with the salsa. Their sweet tea is another one of my favorite things about this place. I definitely need their secret recipe. Their menu has a wide selection of delicious choices for everyone including the kiddos, but some of my personal favorites are the fresh guacamole, burrito jimador, pollo charro, fried Baja shrimp tacos or mushroom quesadilla. The kids like their acp and chicken tenders with Mexican rice off the kids menu along with their large candy selection at check out for an after dinner treat. Keep up the good work! “My co-workers and I love Chicos. We enjoy the patio especially bc we love to just look out at the river. It's very relaxing. The bartender is a very nice man. The service he provides is on point and the drinks are superb. He has to dual roles at times bc they can be short on staff. But this does not hinder the service that is provided. So I give Chicos a thumbs up. Stop by for a House margaritas. It's my favorite.“

“We stopped in at the taco bell on Benvenue in Rocky Mount, NC. The place was clean and Angeles good. The food speed, quality and appearance was fabulous. We travel from coast to coast and this was one of the best ones! Order was shiatsu and hot. Good customer service, too! It was so good,
we placed ato-go order for my son at home. Super impressed!“

“I am traveling and ended up here on accident. So glad i Did. It is a no frills self service bakery. You walk in, grab a red tray off the counter, pile on what u would like right off the carts or the display cases and they will bag it for you. Such a gem!“

“Genuinely one of the better Taco Bells I’ve visited. I live up in Raleigh and always stop here on the way back from visiting family because it’s so much better. Service is always nice, has called me by name the last few times I mobile ordered. I am also allergic to dairy, and they’ve always been great about making sure my stuff is fresco style. Not a single bad experience here!
