My husband and I highly recommend Neptune's as the place to be. It's awesome, the foods really good. The atmosphere is really good. And I would go nowhere else when We are Vacationing On Hatteras island.

The hush puppies are also a hit, served with tasty honey butter, and the mussels are called the best on the east coast.
The ambiance is that of a lively dive bar, with karaoke on Thursdays and late-night partying. Howard, the owner, makes guests feel welcome. While pricing is a bit higher than expected, the portion sizes make up for it. The restaurant has plenty of parking, is kid-friendly, and wheelchair accessible.
