I grew up in Salisbury and lived there well into my adulthood. I live in Columbia, SC now but when I come back to town to visit my Mom, one of my favorite places to eat is at Checkered Flag. They’re food is really good but the hard working ladies who serve the customers is what makes it great. They take the time to talk to every customer at every table and it’s not just chit chat. I'm a semi-regular because I live in the neighborhood. It's always my go-to place when I'm extra hungry. I haven't given a review & just wanted to give a big shout-out to Angela, Jennifer, Amy, Ginger as well as the cooks & the other waitresses & staff. They are all really friendly, courteous, and exceptional at service. And the food is really good too. Grade of A+
