I walked in on a Friday evening, 6ish. There were empty tables but the maitre d
asked if I had a reservation. I took a seat at the bar. The initial service was kind of slow but once I ordered my food was ready very quickly. I had the Hemingway Chicken, yellow rice and moros, paired with the grapefruit lager it was excellent ??. I will return to try something else on the menu.

I am Cuban from Miami and this is the first Cuban restaurant in North Carolina that I have found that has authentic Cuban food. The food was delicious. Very well seasoned. They have an assortment of beers very nice staff that attended us extremely sweet and kind and did everything they could to make us feel at home excellent food.

If you're looking for authentic Cuban food this is literally going to be the place you need to go to. The staff is wonderful and you will always be treated super well. The bar has a great variety of drinks and they usually have more than one bartender working so the drinks come out pretty quick. Now there's two parts to the business that I personally love, their food obviously, and the stunning interior. A lot of love and thought went into the interior of the building. It really captures an authentic Cuban feel. The food which is the main reason you're probably coming here is absolutely amazing. They have something for everyone and so far I've never even come close to being disappointed with a single meal. Now I will say the only thing if I had to pick a negative is there unfortunately open a few days out of the week. So if you can make it down during one of the days that they're open I recommend it.

Parking: Parking is on the side just a few buildings down or you can park on Fisher Street. I would also recommend parking at Town Hall as they have a free parking lot as well.

Kid-friendliness: Great place for family meals very friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is located in side of a historic building I'm actually unsure of wheelchair access as I know that there is a small staircase to get into the front door. I will update as soon as I know.

I'm from Miami and oh my gosh!! Best Vacca Frita ever! Their empanadas are AMAZING too. The ambiance is great with the paintings of Cuba. We aren't from the area unfortunately but when we return we'll definitely be back. If I could give 6 stars would.

Coming from Miami this place did not disappoint. It was worth the 40 min drive from Mooresville.

Private Event!

Mambo Grill hosted a private event for my company and it was flawless. We met with Arielle to discuss the night and she was open to any ideas we had in mind and gave great suggestions. We had 30 people that they served drinks, appetizers and a seated dinner for in perfect fashion.

Highly recommend reaching out to Arielle and having your own private event.

The decorations of the area were amazing! even the bathrooms were clean and on theme with the place. The food was good too. The garlic cilantro sauce is to die for.

The was great. Our server was by far the best server we have had outside of Vegas. Food was well prepared. I had chicken with pepper bacon gravy. The chicken breast was pounded thin served with potatoes. It was a great dish. If you go, ask to see if Sarah is working. You will not be disappointed.

Slow service, beer is overpriced ($7 for half pour of a Burial beer with 5%ABV)
