This is a fantastic Cuban restaurant. Worth the drive from Winston or Charlotte. The food is bursting with remarkable flavors! Service is great, very attentive and helpful with menu choices.
Odd place. The food is good by NC standards but if you’re Hispanic you’ll understand it’s lacking. Also the place was mostly empty and the some of the staff acted bothered or overwhelmed by a large party. Policy is policy but customer service is largely lacking. The woman in charge made a comment to other guests apologizing for the large party “meandering” around. Very unprofessional. Coming from the service industry everyone has bad nights, so maybe post holidays people...
Every time my wife and I come to Salisbury we dine at Mambo Grill. The experience, food and our hostess Gisselle C. are worth more than five stars.
On 22 Nov @ 17:37 we arrived for dinner. We ordered two Chicken Hemingway and for desert the Coconut Flan. Both entrees were very delicious. But our hostess recommended what is called Mariquitas. An appetizer we have never tried. It was the talk on our table with Gisselle C as she recommended the dish.
