I have to thank the owners of Oddie's Sunflower Field for opening up their property for public use. This place was my family's respite when we experienced homelessness. Id take my children here while my husband worked down at McKenzie Taxidermy and just relax. While my kids would run around and play, I'd take in the beauty of the flowers, inhale deep breaths of fresh air, and relish in the privacy that this little piece of paradise offered. Thank you, Farmer Oddie. Your property is beautiful.
They have gourds, pumpkins, make your own bouquet, all free of charge, but donations are welcome. There are swings hanging from the trees, patio chairs to sit back on, coolers filled with ice cold water, and picnic tables. This place is a gem and I cant speak more highly of it.

I’ve been there today (June) and it was stunning! It’s a little bit hidden but the address is correct and will guide you directly to the field. When you enter, you will find a stand with some vases, clippers to pick your free (donations are welcome) sunflower. There are also some fresh vegetables for sale and bird houses. Very cute! You can walk around and pick your own flower with all the provided supplies. Make sure to leave a donation, especially if you pick a bouquet. There are also some shady places, perfect for a quick picnic and break. I really enjoyed it, such a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit. Thank you for providing this wonderful field and your flowers!

So much beauty in one area it was incredible to get to experience yesterday. There are places to sit and enjoy the weather so I think we'll bring food next time. The gentleman we met was very kind and invited us to come back anytime just to hang out.

This is a small, but beautiful place, with many different spots to take great photos of yourself, or loved ones, or even clients of yours. My girlfriend and I decided to do some photos here and we loved the way the turned out! Quick to get to from nearly anywhere!
