More like 31/2 My friend and I have been here twice and enjoy the atmosphere. The salmon sandwich on chibatta was very good, the chicken sandwich was tough, the shrimp sandwich good, the tarragon chicken salad had way too much tarragon. The sandwiches do have an overabundance of greens on them, which I am not a fan of. Staff is friendly so worth going.

Service was great. Some of the food came and was overcooked. Bread charred and some of the crab bakes over cooked. We had a large group, so as a whole great

Have been there many times and never ever had a sub par meal!! The Muffuletta sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had !! Friendly and reasonable price

Keep your expectations low - quality & service not commensurate with price.
Two of us seated for brunch & ordered soon after; had to ask twice for our water. About 25 minutes later the waiter returned and asked if there would be anything else before getting our check...um yes, we hadn't gotten out food. A few minutes later we got our food - my $19 eggs benedict was cold so asked that it be re-heated - and the English muffin, even after re-heat was not toasted & was soggy under the egg. We were rushed out (hadn't even been ther an hour) as they said they needed to set up for a larger party & needed the room; also said they didn't have room anywhere else for us to finish up. They were not nice about it.
Realize they get busy for Sunday brunch, but it would have been nice if they'd told us if there was a time restriction, had been more attentive with our food order, and apologize for their mistakes/poor service without the attitude. I like supporting local business but doubt we'll be back.

This is my favorite brunch spot in Salisbury, but lunch and dinner are fabulous too. Every dish is made with love; highly recommend!

With guest and asked for two bills. Waiter only brought out one. Went to front desk and asked cashier for two separate bills. Was rudely asked to return to table rather than complete the payment at the register. The customer should never be treated badly. Especially when they are paying customers. I will never eat at sweet meadow again. Nothing sweet about the experience

When I first looked inside, I almost turned around and went elsewhere. But I was greeted at the door and allowed my choice of 4 tables. So I sat down and ordered a glass of wine while waiting on my friend to arrive. This place is very small, very limited seating, and not quite empty on this particular Wednesday evening. I am SO GLAD I did not leave! This small, intimate restaurant exceeded my wildest expectations. On paper (well, my computer screen), the menu looked nice enough. But the food was absolutely delicious! I had the salmon and my friend had a NY Strip steak. The presentation of both plates would have pleased Gordon Ramsey. My salmon was scrumptious and my friend said her steak was the best she'd ever eaten. The wine was great, too. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Other patrons we chatted with, mostly regulars, praised the place as well. We will definitely go back! I highly recommend the Sweet Meadow, and I recommend you go on a week night. :)

First and last visit. I had the mushroom quiche, bacon, and fried potatoes. The quiche was quite good, but the bacon and potatoes were inedible, literally burnt (to be fair, 1 slice of the bacon was mostly edible and a very small amout of the potatoes). It begs the question...Why would a cafe/restaurant actually serve that to a customer when it was visibly and unquestionably burnt? I even took a picture of it and wish there was a place to post it. However, when it was time to pay I calmly brought it to their attention and they offered to replace the bacon only, but I declined. So they adjusted my bill for the bacon and a portion of the potatoes ?. I realize this is a small business, but having worked in various Customer Service oriented positions over many years in my career, I found this experience and resolution to the problem quite daunting. At this point, I just let it go. I definitely will not go there again.

The service was good. The food was mediocre at best. Brie was runny like soup with no flavor. Sandwich bread was fresh but portion of meat was lacking. Salad dressing was bland and salad was all lettuce. So disappointed.
