On my husband's and my 'date day' by patronizing all our favorite places. Thursday Jan 7 around 4 pm we sat down to eat. We became so enthralled in conversation we didn't realize it was getting a little off color. The waitress (forgot her name) handled the situation like a professional by quickly apologizing to the mother and giving the little girl a Waffle House hat and free pancakes every week until she turns 10.
