I'm from KC originally. Love that this place has REAL BBQ. Brisket is the best I have had outside of KC. Service is outstanding. Owner will come talk to you . Baked beans are the way they should be ib a BBQ restaurant. Haven't tried the pork because I can't pass up the brisket !Vegetarian options: Get real. This is a BBQ joint!

I have been wanting t try this place since it opened and tonight we did. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I think this is my new favorite place. I brought a piece of their famous pound cake home for later. The sweet tea is brewed and was delicious. Try it!

Outstanding! Best pulled pork I've ever had. My platter also had perfectly fried okra, nicely seasoned green beans, sweet and crunchy hush puppies, and a piece of moist cornbread. Service was impeccable. This restaurant is situated just outside of Sanford, near Tramway, and is a must-stop.

This was our first time eating there and the food was great but our server was either distracted or forgot about getting us things that we asked for like extra ranch dressing for our loaded fries which we were almost done with by the time we got our extra ranch dressing. We asked for a to go cup and she walked by us several times with nothing in her hands and didn't get us our to go cup so we left without it.

Do not miss this GEM!!!! We had a great meal and excellent service. Casual easy atmosphere. Priced right for a family. We had the pork skins, hush puppies, pulled pork plate and a loaded potato with brisket. But wait there is dessert!!! Cinnamon ice cream is my absolute favorite thing in the world. Those apple pie they had at McDonalds in the 80's that were deep fried not baked...they have them! Great food priced right. We will be back!!

Let's start with the Banana Pudding - Order it!! The brisket and chicken is amazing as are the ribs, turkey, and pulled pork - even have options for 2 or 3 meat combo plates with two sides and so much more!! Do yourself a favor call in or dine

Best BBQ we have found since relocating from the west coast. Tried the pulled pork (smoked and really pulled, NOT prechewed and doused in vinegar like the rest of the state). Also tried the brisket, nachos, smoked bologna and out of this world ribs. Everything was absolutely delicious and the scratch made red bbq sauce is just the right combination of spicy with a touch of sweet. Sides of coleslaw, fries, and salad were equally delicious. I have been married to a certified Kansas City competitive judge and cook for the last 45 years so have been exposed to my fair share of barbeque and rate this as one of the best.
