Best ceviche I’ve ever had and delicious shrimp cocktail! Really bright, fresh flavors. The fish tacos are also excellent. Highly recommend!
Hands down one of the best!
We have been house hunting in Sanford for a few months. The first place we stopped to eat was Kalos because it was right on the corner and looked adorable.
Best decision ever. We stopped every time we came to town to look at a house and now that we live here we are excited that we can eat here more often. Kalos Mexican Kitchen in Sanford offers incredible Mexican cuisine with super great prices and delicious food. The atmosphere is neat, with a beautiful outdoor al fresco dining area and big windows of the downtown area for people watching. The food is well-made with beautiful presentation, and every dish has depth to it. Popular menu items include the Baja fish tacos, shrimp taco, chicken tinga, chimichangas, tostadas, ACP with birria, and the birria ramen which is divine. The aguachile in black salsa is amazing, and the michelada is really good. The chips are house made and absolutely amazing, and the fresca is so good. Daily specials are available, including taco specials. The service is delightful and the people working are so kind. Prices are really really good, with super reasonable costs. This little gem of a place is a favorite in the area and is highly recommended for fantastic authentic Mexican food.
