Hands down the best restaurant in town. And probably the best sushi I've had. My father (a picky eater) recently visited from out of town, and I took him to Ichiban. The sushi chef sent out a particular sushi dish for my dad to try.. and he LIKED it. My dad is at that age where you don't expect someone to start liking new foods, but I'll be darned. Ichiban is just that good.10/5

My wife and I come here two times a month to treat ourselves and have a date night. The service is wonderful, and every so often they treat us to a special dish from the chef (we make sure to tip well. ?) . Their sushi, in my opinion, outstrips anything I’ve had in Cary in terms of quality and value, and the presentation is top notch. I can’t recommend Ichiban highly enough, and we will be back many times in the years to come!Dietary restrictions: My wife is allergic to shrimp in a big way — the staff always respect her needs!

I have come in at different times of the day and always have always been given excellent service!The dining experience is cozy and just right.The food is soooo delicious! I love ordering the Udon noodle soup with chicken.Their sushi is top notch and always made perfectly!Give this place a try for an excellent tastebud experience!!

We went for a lunch date on Sunday. Even though it was right after they opened the food was great and the service was so fast. We will definitely be coming back.
We ordered Chicken Yaki Soba and Chicken Yaki Udon. The noodles were prepared exceptionally well. The chicken was well flavored and plentiful.The rolls were ordered were fresh and yummy. Philly Roll, crunchy shrimp and a tuna roll were excellent. I will ask for extra ginger and wasabi next time though… we have been back a couple of times now.

This place is great! The basic rolls are delicious and the specialty rolls are delicious. Their spicy tuna and the sea roll are my favorites. The shumai are also stand out. Service is always fast and friendly.

Love the food and service. The atmosphere is a little underwhelming and plain. But the food and service make up for it.I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for the best sushi in Sanford, not to mention Bento Box, Hibachi, and other Asian dishes.Parking: There is only street parking available, and because there are other restaurants on the same street, you sometimes have to be patient when searching for a parking spot or be willing to walk a bit.

We ordered two appetizers, chicken katsu and California roll. Everything was incredible, so tasty and came out quickly. The katsu was like 2 full chicken breasts worth and the katsu sauce was super yummy. The roll was fresh and generous. Zero complaints!

Their food is good but their Customer Service is TRASH!! Everytime I go there, they have a attitude with me because I found hair in my food and they didn't want to give my money back. I will never go hear again. They don't like black people either. They treat us terrible.

I was very disappointed. Ordered a roll that had soft shell crab, bit into it and it had a nasty consistency. When I pulled the roll apart it had the guts of the crab inside. I've never had an uncleaned soft shell crab in any kind of sushi roll before, although I know it's not dangerous, it was a very unpleasant surprise. Pork katsu was completely unseasoned, and dry as jerky.Mediocre food otherwise at best, but for a $14 roll, I expected more.
