Friends in Sandford NC, Joe's Tap and Grill is absolutely legit. Good food, good friendly service and some good brews on tap. Nicely done all around!

Very unwelcoming. We entered around 7pm, there was no sign indicating whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. After waiting uncomfortably, we went to the bar. People were being served, but nobody attempted to help us. I got the eye of the bartender... He said he'd be right with us. He then proceeded to ignore us and started chatting with a patron at the bar.
My wife asked me what I was doing. I told her I was writing a review for that place. She said it takes a lot for her to believe someone was that rude and to be okay with leaving a bad review. But she said she is in this case.

The entire experience was wonderful. Friendly staff, delicious food, inviting atmosphere! Only wish they were open earlier for lunch at least on Saturday? Otherwise highly recommend!!

In desperate need of better signage., the black and blue burger was really good. The waiter was trying really hard but not around when needed. I will be back. Not many options for a good burger in sanford.
Joe and his wife Brenda have a really nice establishment here. The food is good and the atmosphere is always friendly not to mention the staff there is greatif you’re looking for a local hang out with lots of local Sanford atmosphere this is a place to go.

Went here recently, the guy with the glasses was really rude. He started cussing and said he didn't come to our table because someone in our group didn't tip him last time they went. The entire atmosphere felt very hostile. Another employee didn't seem to realize what was going on and decided to add her own little comment about the tip as well. Owner needs to do something about that guy and his willingness to take his anger out on the customer. No other bar I've went to treated us this bad.
