Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Have to update my review. I went today to get some chicken. And made a request that at first I had to argue with the cashier. Then i was told 4 minutes wait and ended up waiting like 20 minutes l when my food it was burned and unsightly. I don't recommend going to this location. Spending hard earned money and being disrespected isn't worth it.

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich bacon cheese combo. I did not get that. I got charged for it, however did not get what I asked for. I won’t be coming back to this location. It was slow and they still didn’t get my order correct. Thank you also for 1 packet of ketchup. That’s not going to even let me eat maybe 10 fries with it.

I went through the drive thru, sat there for 5 minutes, and nobody took my order so i drove off...they need to get a new night crew, or shut that store down...ot has truly went down from when they first opened. REALLY SAD!!!

Food was hot but did not taste good to me. I ask for jelly, he gave me like 9 packets of jelly for one biscuit. Coke was out and no one showed interest to refill it.

This particular Popeyes, although this is my first visit so I can’t say anything about the atmosphere. The service guy named Thomas was very good. Not sure who took my order cause sometimes the person who takes your order is the one who gives you the food, but my issue is with the size proportions. I had a large beans and rice for $5.99 and I had a large coleslaw for $4.99 Please see the photos in the discrepancy in the sizes.

40 minutes until close we waited at the drive thru mic patiently with no response from an employee. When we finally decided to drive off we see the one employee out front mopping, clearly just trying to close and go home. I usually don’t leave bad reviews but I’m pregnant and was super excited for Popeyes chicken. I’ll just drive out to the Cameron location in the future, they provide good service right up until close.

Staff refuses to take orders after 10 this place is not open until 11 staff here is always rude and slow

Went to popeyes on a Sunday evening I wanted to try the flounder fish sandwich. I order too combos, 1with a doc pepper 2.strawberry/lemonade, did the drive thru instead of going inside. When approached window the guy gave me too cups half full saying the ice machine was broken and no fries at all, ok why not just fill the cups up with soda, I handed the cup back he filled, I order fried pickles that looked like they had been sitting all day waiting for someone to buy them, I also returned them requesting some fresh one, he ask me to park while the food is being prepared. The food came fries was fresh, but that was all that was fresh, the pickles tasted more like fish than the actual fish sandwich. The only reason they have a 1 star is because the apple pie was good. I made a bad decision of wasting $29.38 at popeyes.

I went mid afternoon during a slow time for a late lunch. Food was great and clearly freshly cooked and the employees were very friendly. They were out of Coke and Sprite, but I wanted sweet tea anyways and that was great, just the right amount of sweet. Compared to the other fast food options I've tried in Sanford recently, this was the best hands down.
