Food was decent, but service was not good at all. Took over an hour to get our food and our waitress was not super friendly. Must of been a bad day for them. :(
Slopeside is an excellent restaurant, bar and local venue. The bar is big for the size of the restaurant and the bartender Keenan very skilled and personable. The food is well priced and features a nice selection of dishes plus they have daily specials. The fish fry Friday is fantastic. People can sit outside with dogs and kids or inside in the cozy lodge atmosphere. They have live music playing outside on select dates. I was there in July and saw 2 different performances. The beer is cold, the food is hot and the staff very friendly and attentive. You can come as you are or dress up. Everyone is welcome. I love that!
I’ve eaten here a few times. The service has always been great and I thought the food was really good.
Cute bar area to enjoy live music. The beer cheese was delicious!
Went here for the first time with the family to grab some food after some time at Silver Run Falls and then walking around the village green and the playground.
Burgers were juicy, but lacked flavor. Fries and tots were good. My daughter’s Mac and cheese looked like it was out of a box or microwave single…
Pretty quiet, but it was late on a Sunday night in the spring.
Will probably try again sometime as it has obvious potential to be great and could have just been a little off.
I'm from South Africa, and I can honestly say that this is home away from home.. great crowd, good food and exceptional service! Good job guys!
Fantastic little place. Offered great service, amazing drinks, and good food. Would highly recommend the tots.
Long overdue review for one of our favorite spots in Sapphire Valley! Slopeside Tavern has become a must-visit every time we’re in town. We love that we can swim, play putt putt, hit the arcade, then walk over to enjoy a meal on their pet-friendly patio. The kids love running up and down the little slope while we listen to live music when they have it—it’s just such a great vibe.
The service is always top-notch, and the beer and wine selection is solid. We love that you can buy a “round for the staff” for just $10—such a cool way to show appreciation.
As for the food: the wings and truffle tots are always a go-to because they are so crispy, and my husband is hooked on the protein bowl. This time I tried the blueberry BBQ burger and was so pleasantly surprised—it was amazing!
I wish I had snapped more pics to share, but honestly, just go check it out for yourself. It’s the perfect combo of laid-back fun and good eats.
The location is great and it offers outdoor seeting. The restaurant is right on the ski and tubing slopes. Menu was seasonal (small mwnu) but everything was good. Service was great and fast.

Kane and Damon are absolutely the best! Wonderful service and inviting environment as I didn’t ski with my kids and husband. They hosted our large group with smiles and fun. It was a perfect spot to hang while warming by the fire and having a cocktail!
Oh and the food was great and super speedy for how busy they were. Impressed and ready to come back. I mean, here two days straight with nothing but the best of staff.

Word of warning, they have a limited “ski slope” menu (their words) at times (such as today) which is drastically different from what is on the website. As the waitress helpfully explained, it’s mostly frozen food. They didn’t even have everything on their limited menu, at that; specifically, they didn’t have any chili on a cold day. This unfortunate circumstance led us to see some parties get up and leave after realizing the bait-and-switch.
Their truffle fries had no hint of truffle, and none of the food was any better than you’d find at the frozen food section at the grocery store. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t good either.
To make matters a bit more disappointing, on an evening when it was 29 degrees outside, it was 58 degrees in the restaurant. That’s not an exaggeration, that’s taken directly from their thermostat at the rear of the restaurant. Not exactly what you are looking forward to after a day outdoors.
All that said, the staff was helpful and polite. They were doing what they could with what they had.

Wife and I were in the area for our honeymoon and decided to stop in. Amazing doesn't even begin to describe the food. We had the Caribbean Jerk Chicken and our taste buds were blow away. The Beer Cheese is the bomb as well. We were so impressed we ordered the Ruben for later that night. If your in their area swing in and try them out.
