The restaurant location is convenient with plenty of parking. The indoor and outdoor dining spaces are nothing spectacular but they're clean. The menu was a little eccentric but overall it was good. The service was also good but they could definitely use a little more help. Definitely try the truffle fries. We'd eat here again.

This was my first visit to SlopeSide Tavern, although I live close by. My friend, Lisa and I stopped in for lunch and I was completely amazed at the quality of the food. I had the French dip sandwich and some of the best fries ever. The sandwich was excellent as well. I stopped in again and the sandwich was not on the menu, but the tacos were fantastic. My husband raved about the tomato soup.

Drove over here on a Friday afternoon for lunch because wait times were too long for restaurants in Cashiers. Service here was so slow that we could have gotten a table in Cashiers by the time our food was served here. Basic bar food and not very good. Somehow they were out of the French dip sandwich. Our order took so long that we asked the waitress when it would arrive. She there was a backup in the kitchen and our food would come out soon. No apology for the inconvenience. Would not recommend, would not return.

A Tavern at the base of the ski area in Sapphire Valley. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a friendly and helpful staff. Great anytime of the year. When skiing is open it can get busy.

Great casual place with an excellent staff. We went on Monday night for fajitas and they were great also had the chicken tacos also very good. They have a nice outdoor area. We will be back.
