0 service , very high price , small portions, Rude bartender (how I understand owner of the restaurant) AND MONEY THIEVES. For their worth service in NEW YEAR I tipped them only 3$ . BUT THEY CHANGE TIPS FROM 3$ to 30$ AND CHARGED 127.06$ instead of 100.06$. Already open dispute with bank . 👎👎👎 If you want to get nervous and lost your money for 0 service and food , you are welcome 👎👎👎

We are in town celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary and we visited the day after Christmas. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We seem to be cursed when it comes to restaurants but we are also very forgiving. Well that wasn’t necessary tonight because this place was AMAZING. We made reservations and were seated right away. They made accommodations easily for me as I’m gluten free and the food came out right away and it was so fresh and delicious—a step way up from traditional gastropub fare. But the staff was the real star of the show. There were THREE women working the entire restaurant and a gentlemen running food and they were efficient and nonstop while also being extremely friendly the whole time. They worked together FLAWLESSLY to make sure everyone was taken care of and the kitchen was cranking out food left and right. The whole vibe was so chill and positive despite it being extremely busy. I saw the sign that said the restaurant is owned by Erica and DAMN GIRL! You did the thing! I hope you are so proud of what you’ve put together and as one business owner to another, congratulations and I hope your restaurant continues to succeed. We will definitely return and HIGHLY recommend to others visiting the area.

Dietary restrictions: They work with gluten free patrons well.

This was a nice find while we were in town. Sat at the bar and had an appetizer and a drink. Everyone was not only kind to us, but appeared to have great rapport with one another. Genuinely friends. Very refreshing. Would go again without hesitation.

The Fix has never disappointed even though the food cost is priced high compared to what you get but at least it is tasty. They have live music which has always been entertaining and fun. Where the rubber has met the road with me was the ridiculous pricing for their alcohol beverages. These prices make absolutely no sense. I did try to express this to a manager after I received the bill but was met with an impolite manner that escalated the situation versus knowing how to handle a sensitive situation. As an x restaurant owner 24 yrs I understand how hard it can be to know when to push, when to listen and then how to navigate different and difficult situations to have an end result that puts everyone at ease and keeps the importance of the bigger picture first and foremost in mind. I will not support a business any business by spending more money by getting these drinks with these kinds of ridiculous prices. I recommend having all or a few drinks at home before you go!! This will effect there bottom line but for some reason they are ok with this as the owner did express this. Pricing for a 3 liquor drink at $14, LIT $17 and well drinks $11 to $14. If you are ok spending that kind of price for these drinks then go for it. As for me and others that I’ve talked to about this. In having to pay 2 to almost 3 times the cost for these kinds of drinks is just wrong. If you think so then please tell the owner/management. As a consumer it’s your responsibility to let an owner know these things first hand so they can understand that their choice is affecting your experience at their business in a negative way. We are the ones that have the power to draw the line in the sand and say enough is enough. I did find out that these owners in this area met to set these kinds of prices for these drinks. Trying to keep the pricing structure for these drinks the same in this area 🤔. It appears to be a problem not only at The Fix but this area. I will say that the first owner that reduces these prices to more of a reasonable amount and advertise it will do very very well!!! Instead of having having 1 drink and done but having a few to enjoy more of what is being offered. Note, The Fix has first dibs. I 100% enjoy spending lots of money in having a great time when it makes sense. If these owners are paying higher taxes to justify these kinds of drink cost because the prices on these liquor bottles have not changed then it’s up to these owners in this area to go to their respective and take things into their own hands. By telling them enough is enough. Even if they are paying a little more in taxes it doesn’t justify that kind of jump in that price point. I would hate for The Fix and or other business to pay that ultimate price with such a backlash from consumers that it could affect their bottom line and longevity. Change is coming what it will be is up to us as consumers and them as owners. For me my line in the sand is now firmly in place. With a silver lining that I will have even more money to spend elsewhere on things that makes sense!

My wife and I celebrated a nice evening out during our visit to Sapphire and really was blown away by the scenery and food at Canyon Kitchen!

Such a beautiful setting if the weather cooperates, and it did for us. Our food was great, across the board. We had fish, chicken, and the short rib across our foursome and everyone enjoyed their meals. The cheesecake was about the size of a Reese's peanut butter cup.... So a little disappointed in that to be honest. My 3 star comes from wine service. When we walked in the Somm saw my wine bag and immediately asked if we would like him to decant the bottles while we enjoyed a cocktail on the patio. Perfect start! Fast forward 45 minutes later and my two bottles of RED wine (a grand cru burgundy and a single vineyard barolo) were placed on our table in champagne ice buckets.... They had put red wine on ice for 45 minutes so it was stone cold. We had to wait a solid 45 minutes for it to warm up before we could order dinner. When I received the bill - they had left the corkage on my bill and the Somm never came over to explain himself. Left our poor waiter to fend. I tipped her well (which CK does for you at 20% automatically by the way). I don't think I will be back. Too many other great spots between Highlands and Cashiers.

Absolutely fantastic!! Sadie, our server, was great! Very knowledgeable of the menu and cocktails. She also remembered that we had a food allergy. So impressed as always! The staff is amazing and the food is perfection!

The view and grounds of Canyon Kitchen are perfect. The wine list is good. However, the food was not good. My husband & I both ordered the lobster pot pie. It was terrible with no seafood in it. The carrot mash, saffron & fennel was bitter & served cold to us. The chard okra is not cooked enough & difficult to cut & chew. The only thing we somewhat liked was the rolls & cheddar biscuits & the blueberry cobbler dessert with ice cream.

Once we were seated it took awhile for our server to come to take a drink order. When the food was served she never came back to check if we need anything else. I needed a different meal. I ordered the trout. I would have been better off going to McDonald's and ordering their filet of fish sandwich. My trout was heavily breaded and about 1/4 inch thick. It had many dark areas in it and tasted fishy. We told the server that it was not any good and tasted fishy. She just smiled at us and walked away. It was on our bill. They also automatically add a 22% tip and she definitely did not serve this. We had reservations for the next month and we cancelled them. Maybe we will try them again next year but definitely not this year!

Canyon Kitchen is hands down, our favorite dining experience in this area. The property, building and surrounding grounds are just gorgeous. It's like being transported to a different country and era. The restaurant has beautiful post and beam construction with soaring ceilings and an enormous fireplace, amidst the backdrop of an impressive sheer rock face. Now for the food. Oh my goodness....Think farm, field and stream to table- with a nod to mountain living. Last night we enjoyed a lamb meatball appetizer, salad with shaved trout and fried capers, lobster pot pie, and the most flavorful, tender short ribs (over risotto) I've ever eaten! Their service is always stellar, the wine list is inclusive in both varietals and price points, and their cocktails-featured and traditional- never disappoint. Go early and enjoy a beverage outdoors, or linger with your after dinner drink by the fireplace. Canyon Kitchen checks ALL the boxes.
