This farmhouse style brewery is tucked away in the bottom of an old mill facility. Kudos for the repurposed use of space, and kudos for making phenomenal ales that clearly have a style. These are the kinds of beers I strive to brew. Subtle and satisfying.I've been meaning to check this place out for years, and it's nice to come on a quiet afternoon where I can enjoy the springtime weather in peace.Cheers, folks!
We've been here once before, years ago, and they didn't have anything gluten reduced for me to drink, including wine, seltzer or cider.We were hoping it would be different this time since we ran across a canned Saison by them a year or so ago at a bottle shop in Durham.Initially we were told they didn't have anything for me. So my first Saxapahaw visit happened just a couple of Saturdays ago. It started off with a hike before lunch at The Eddy followed by a walk-through of the ballroom, and eventually getting to Haw River Farmhouse Ales.
