Two of us dined at Lucca last night. They were very busy, with a couple large parties that kept the servers occupied. I selected the Chilean Sea Bass special. When it arrived, I was surprised that the piece of fish was quite small. The floor boss was fortunately very attentive, and offered to remake my dish. In short order, a perfectly cooked, reasonably sized sea bass was presented. Nice recovery! My dining companion - an old friend whose birthday we were celebrating - ordered the lasagna. Huge proportion, and excellent! As we were finishing, the floor boss stopped by again, and offered to complete and take-home dessert. Now that is customer service! Thank you.

Always enjoy the Braised Beef but had to send it to be reheated. The server was excellent.

Great service, food and atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Big portions and decent prices. Chicken parm was outstanding. Crab ravioli also excellent, but could have used a bit more sauce. Excellent foccacia bread. Make reservations Place was packed.

We've been to Lucca's several times and always enjoyed. However The calamari was not good ,

We've eaten there a number of times and this was the worst it has been. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was very bland as if it was just diced tomatoes out of the can. My wife had the eggplant lasagna and she said the exact same thing. The server seemed to ignore our needs once we did not order an appetizer or drinks. She walked past us 3 times when my wife's water was empty.

Tried the special, veal chop parmigiana - outstanding! The food and service are consistently excellent at this restaurant.

Love the food at Luca's. Sherèe was excellent in all ways as our server. I recommend the veal chop. The focaccia is always delicious.

Surprised by the many options available. All in our group of 4 had something different and all raved about their meal. The homemade pasta is outstanding and the value is good as well.

Lucca is our favorite restaurant! We had reservations for dinner for our 42nd Wedding anniversary. Our server Hanna was excellent! When we were seated, to our surprise a card had been placed on our table wishing us a Happy Anniversary, signed by the staff members. We each ordered our favorites: fillet mignon, Caesar salad and fettuccine Alfredo. Steak was cooked to perfection, salad was excellent and fettuccine was excellent too! The foccocia bread was awesome. Had Backhouse Pinot Noir with dinner, which is a very good wine! Hanna was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. After we finished dinner, again to our surprise, she brought us a platter with cannoli on it fir dessert! It was so delicious!!

Had another great dining experience at Lucca's! Everyone was very pleased with the their food. The only miss was the tiramisu. I have had it a couple of times before and it was delicious; however, this time the filling was gummy and had a weird texture. Our waitress was very accommodating and brought us a slice of limoncello cake which was delicious.

What a great place. The family has a new tradition, hit the beach, eat here as our best dinner out. So great!

We went to Lucca' in Shallotte last night and it was awesome. First, the staff was great, attentive without being intrusive. And they were spot on with refills and bringing the food fast and hot. But while I appreciate that, I go to eat, and we sure did eat. They started us out with delicious, home baked Focaccia Bread that was so good. The meal came with a house or Caesar salad. My wife had the Caesar and she said it was one of the best one's she's ever had. For our entrees, I had chicken parm with home made pasta that was done to perfection, and there was plenty of it. My wife Pasta Pescatore, Shrimp, calamari, mussels sautéed in garlic oil, white wine & tomato sauce served with squid ink pasta that she said was amazing. All of their pasta is made in house. For my wife to rave about the food said alot because she's Italian through and through. For dessert, they had a made in house tiramisu that was incredible and was move than enough to split. All this, and the bill was $83. I can't tell you about their wine or alcohol costs because I don't go to restaurants to drink, I go to eat.

We picked a really busy evening to celebrate our anniversary, so we totally understand the extra time. The food was outstanding, though!

Tried Lucca Italian Chophouse on a Sunday evening. We had a reservation, were seated right away in a booth. It was very private as the booth backs were very high. Our waiter, Todd, was spectacular! He was so knowledgable with the menu and told us all about the other restaurants they own. He has such a great personality that we will ask for him the next time we go. The food was delicious and plentiful. I split the lasagna with another member of our party and we both ended up taking some home. The veal chop was so big it can certainly be split too, or you can take half home. All in all it was a great choice for dinner!
