Great place for a quick eat. Good location and wonderful environment. Food and drinks were right on as well with service. Must stop if you're in the area for sure.

We had burgers for lunch, delicious. It took a while to get our order taken, but not long to cook or serve. I got my fries extra crispy, just like I requested. Looks like a great place for summer, full bar, outside tables, not yet in season for that. Cute decor!

Great service, Abbey was attentive and very helpful and delicious food, we really appreciated all the help by the staff

When I ordered, I specifically asked the waitress for HOT & CRISPY french fries with my shrimp and flounder combo. What I got was limp fries and the coating on the fish was soggy not crisp. The entire plate was luke warm. As I left, I asked to speak to the manager. I was informed he was busy in a meeting and the register attendant asked if she could help. I explained the problem. She thanked me for the feedback and assured me it would not happen next time. That assurance did nothing for me. What restaurant manager schedules meeting over the prime lunch and dinner period? He should be focused on customers during these times, right? Anyway, can I really believe the attendant or should I just avoid this place? ....yeah, let's put a BIG avoid Chance's on this place.

It was our first time trying it, and it was delicious. Fatty brisket, but the appetizers to the dinners, we were good.The service was on point. Our waitress was attentive, and informative.A gentleman came over and asked how our meal was after we ate and I'm assuming he's the chef or the owner because he took the initiative to care about every customer in the restaurant.The bathrooms were clean and well stocked,

We love the lunch specials Monday through Saturday. Good country cooking. Can't afford the dinner menu but lunch is priced well. Wish we could order lunch specials at dinner time. We would surely eat out more.

Chance’s Steak and Sea is a gem in Brunswick county. We went there for our Thanksgiving holiday (2 adults and 2 kids) and had an amazing buffet. The buffet had prime rib, turkey , ham, seafood pasta, cornbread stuffing, sweet potato soufflé, collards, desserts and many other items. Everything was flavorful, cooked to perfection, and presented well. Environment is coastal, modern, and spacious. They have a full bar, good wine list, and the service is excellent. We will be back for sure! They also have live music sometimes as well. We highly recommend Chance’s!!

Four of us went there in September we got the Calabash seafood that was the best seafood I had in i don't know when!!! my brother keeps asking me when we're going back, we live in Wilmington North Carolina it was awesome!! so we'll planing on coming back very soon in the near future.I've been telling people how great it is it's about an hour drive but it was worth it. I loved it. everything was wonderful!!!the hush puppies,slaw ,seafood it was the best I've had,Will be there first weekend in December ♥️♥️

My family came in from out of town, this was the 1st place I wanted to take them. The food was great! I ordered wings and the brisket- loved every bit! The brisket was very flavorful and tender, with the perfect amount of sauce drizzled over it, and you could taste the smokiness through the nicely charred outer layer. Our server was nice as well. The food was so good I was surprised that this place wasn't busy

Parking: Large parking! Great for bus loads of people.

Chance has a nice look to it. Great vibe with the outcdoor seating and the garage door wall they often pull up on nice day. The menu has a nice spread of options.The appetizers were amazing the entrees not so much in my option. I'll be giving it another try to see if I just picked an item that wasn't there specialty because every peice of meat I tried was dry and over cooked.

Very Good! I ordered the Pit Master Trio and it was delicious. The brisket was very tender. The pulled pork and ribs had just enough sauce and bbq flavor. Excellent portions and the price was very reasonable. The staff was super friendly.

Had not heard good things about Chance's Steak and Seafood from some friends. However, we had family in and didn't want to cook. They wanted to try some place we hadn't been to before to experience it together. We found that you just can't trust your friends when eats are involved. The food was very diverse and they had much to offer. The brisket was tender and very good. Portions are adequate and the calamari was awesome. We'll probably be back as the service was as accommodating as the menu.

Manager please save your restaurant. We have had dinner at your restaurant at least 10 times since opening. Love ribs Our food last night should not have been served. Came in wanting casual dinner ribs. And chicken fingers. Fingers were good but ffs were hard and VERY overfried. Ribs. Hard dry, overcooked, terrible. Baked potatoe burnt and overcooked. Salad came one minute before dinner. Restaurant empty. We ate what we could of it and paid bill and left. So sad. We need restaurants in Shallotte. Can't serve food like this and stay open. Thr dinner two weeks before was almost as bad. Know it's hard time right now but there was no excuse for that dinner.

Got the Blackbeard sirloin (medium cooked) was not disappointed by the flavor and the overall tenderness of the steakFamily of 5 (2 of them from the kids menu) we spent about $150 (not including tip) with 2 shareable appetizers and a order of crab legs

Great friendly staff, great quality food, competitive prices, even allocated bourbon for folks that like that kind of thing :)! If your close by you should definitely give Chance’s a try
