I don't know what's happened to their service, but they will not listen to you. I told them I was allergic mustard so I wanted cups of ketchup with my corn dogs instead. Not only did they not give me any ketchup at all (not even packets), but they still gave me mustard!! Even though I said I am ALLERGIC!! They even acknowledged that they heard me say I have a food allergy. That is dangerous and rude.

Cookout is an easy, quick, reliable meal when you need fast food. What sets this Cookout apart and makes it exceptional is the friendly service. I don’t go there often enough to know the menu and Yaya was helpful with my questions, so friendly, and patient! My Walking Taco was delish with fresh jalapeños and everyone else loved their trays! Yaya makes Shallotte Cookout exceptional!
I don't even know if you can eat indide It seems that ot is drive thru only. I don't eat fast food hamburgers but their cheese quesadilla and onion rings are a terrific value for the money.

So the cookout in Shallotte North Carolina is probably one of my favorite and only fast food businesses I go to anymore. The food is always waiting on me by the time I get to the window and boy's greeted from the staff to work there and they probably have some of the prettiest women I've seen a long time working in this by two by the way thank you cookout enjoy the food enjoy the atmosphere and I will continue find my fast food there
If I could give negative stars I would. Order Cajun cheese fries and obviously they are out of cheese and instead just dumped a few bits of disgusting burnt “chili” meat to make up for the lack of cheese. So done with this place, not sure who owns it but they should be forced to end their franchise. It’s so gross. Orders are never correct, thought they could at least get cheese fries right. This is the only cookout I have been to that is so awful. Has to be ownership.
