This is one of those locally owned seafood shops where everyone goes for their fresh fish and seafood. It has been there for years because the locals keep it in business year around. I drove over from Oak Island to get some live crabs that are hard to find. They also had large shrimp and fresh fish that I will get next time. Go where the locals go, and that is Doug's Seafood.
Crabs were good, but we called two different times to ask closing time during the holidays, and both times he told us "in thirty minutes" but he was there when we got there from Calabash!

We drive from Fayetteville to get crabs from here. We always buy at least 3 bushels of crabs and never have been disappointed. Mr. Mark always has the best customer service experience. This place is highly recommended. Never been disappointed at any time.
