Met the Red Hare team at Snookys tonight. I had my team there for an outing. Tried Long Days and SPF50/50 Tangerine. Loved them both. Plan on picking up some for my personal fridge. Adam and his partner were fantastic and I am excited to have a great brewery close to my home in Myrtle.
This place has a really cool vibe -- and there are a variety of beers. All really yummy. I found out that the parent brewery, Red Hare, is in Marietta, Georgia. They use 34 degrees N Experiment Station as a testing ground for new ideas that "Brewmaster Bobby" comes up with. (Trivia to amaze your friends with: Both locations are on the 34th Latitude line!)
Drove by too many times, finally stopped and had a flight. Was glad I did! Red Hare has some typical styles and some more experimental styles. Beer people (I am one of them) won't be shocked by anything, but the causal consumer might. But it's good stuff. Hungry? The smells from Wing & Fish next door are enticing. There's room inside and some outside tables too.
