I was at the Smithfield in Shallotte. A guy named LJ was working the window. There was a few minute wait on my order and he knocked off a few dollars from my total. He also gave me an extra cup of ice because I told him how much I like the ice, I went inside to wash my hands and use the restroom and he came out with the food. I gave him a tip For being so nice and he told me that he just got into this kind of work. That he worked on the dredge before, and just gotten into a bad car accident. I recommend anybody to go there, if for nothing else, but the kindness and generosity of the staff.

My order was taken by a young man, Kyle, the manager. Very kind and curtious. When I got home, I realized he had forgotten to include my two desserts. I called spoke to him. He immediately apologized and said to just swing back by the drive thru window. When I got there he came to the window and apologized again. He was so nice. He gave me my desserts and also included a really cool Smithfield Barbeque t shirt!!! Super nice gesture!!!Thank you Mr. Kyle!
