Ordered steak and garlic parm shrimp. The steak was cooked medium rare as requested. The broccoli was underdone I asked for cheese and it wasn't melted. What's supposed to come with it was loaded garlic mashed potatoes but they were just garlic mashed potatoes. Waitress didn't even bring silverware or napkins until I asked for them after my entree was brought to the table.

i ordered online, and the person who gave me my food was awesome. very nice. food itself was good, except for the rice, which was not cooked fully. the portion sizes are very small, especially since everything in the photo (plus the spinach and artichoke dip) costed $30.

We've started making it a point to eat out here in Shelby, NC at least 3 - 4 times a week. The main reason is to spend more quality time together, but we decided to take in a good meal as well. We both agreed that the waitress we had was by far the best ever. The food and drinks were excellent and it wasn't very crowded because of the time, so we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend a visit!!!

On July 3rd, my husband and I came into Applebee's in Shelby excited to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were so disappointed with how we were treated. We waited to be seated and no one ever came to seat us at a table. After about 15 minutes, we decided to seat ourselves. Then the server came to take our order was so very rude! She wanted to know why we seated ourselves( in a rude tone of voice) and I explained why. I know that she saw us several times standing there waiting, but never once said, we will be with you as soon as possible or anything. She was so rude, I politely told her we didn't want to place a order here that we were going somewhere else. My husband and I left and we ended up going to Pleasant City Wood Fire Grill in Shelby. From beginning to end, the service there was amazing! Pleasant City is the place to go to in Shelby! Great customer service, food and the prices are reasonable. We will not be coming back to Applebee's. They lost our business.

Applebee's of Shelby has very little competition here. They are on the main road and could be making a killing. We would use them a lot more, but you can not place an order. The online process always has some sort of glitch. It is not a simple press the button and pay. It is also tough to call in orders as well. So we generally pass. We are not unhappy with the food or service. Yall have to know you lose a ton of money due to the call in process. The store actually sits in a cell phone connectivity hole so you can't let them know you have arrived.

Very nice people, especially the weekend prep guy John very nice respectful and professional. Took the time out of his day when I had a few questions and helped out. I was pretty pleased to have met him. And the food was excellent. *****
Actually went in for a job interview, decided we would eat while waiting, extremely disappointed. $40 for 2 meals and the only thing edible was the cold fries.. the riblets are 70% gristle, the sauce tasted old and fermented. The chicken tenders were hard and poor quality. Needless to say I left without waiting for the interview, because there is no way I could recommend the food to anyone as a server, and there's no way people would tip well for an expensive meal of such poor quality.. even the management seemed indifferent and non personable

ZERO STARS IF I COULD....One of the worst Applebee's I've been to. Here in town for work and wanted something simple and easy. Couldn't even eat half of my dinner. Absolutely disgusting! Shrimp was overcooked, chicken was dry and just gross. Margarita didnt even come as the pictures showed and tatses watered down. Complete dissapoint! Save your time and money. Fast food places around would have been a better option.

We were seated and waited and waited and waited. Twenty minutes went by and never seen the waiter for EVEN OUR DRINKS. And no, they were not that busy! So we just got up and left without even one waiter.
