My 1st time eating here and I will definitely be going back!!! 1st place that cooks squash the way my mom and I do and the meatloaf...OMG. Cornbread, OMG, potato salad OMG..everything just OMG!!! Checking the menu daily for squash so I can get me another plate!!!!!!
You know your in the right place when they ask you if you need vinegar for your collards! The lady working on 5/10/25 was super cool and beyond friendly. 10/10 stars just for her! Now lets talk about the food, amazing food! Fried chicken (leg & thighs) best is NC period no questions asked. Potato salad they should write book about how to make it and the collards were to die for! Hands down my favorite place to eat. If you get it you get if don't I feel sorry for you....
She has so many options to choose from her menu and everything tastes like it was all made with love! As soon as you walk in the owner was there to greet us she was so warm it made it feel so homey! Love this place! And food was sooo good and fairly priced for the amount she gave, will def be back!
