I'm just passing through and found this gem! The food was so delicious, and we got very large portions. We ordered the jerk chicken, ox tails, rice & peas, cabbage, and plantains. The lovely lady that took my order was so personable and kind! I wish we had this kind of service and food back home. Highly highly recommend this small business!!!

The service and food is amazing. They were so kind and helpful and the food came out fast and fresh. I was too excited to eat and forgot to take a picture. The pattys are a must along with any of their platters.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at this clean, delicious and amazingly well presented restaurant.The food tastes like you’re visiting your favorite Auntie or best friends gmom. Love has a distinctive flavor and it suffuses every bite of the amazing J*** Chicken, sweet coco bread, fried plantains and rice n peas.You can eat approximations of Caribbean and Jamaican cuisine many places. You can pay top dollar to enjoy interpretations of “Island Food”. Or you can get yourself to Smithfield NC where a lovely, engaged and friendly team is cranking out the subtle j*** seasonings you may have first experienced in Negril, Montego Bay or in your neighbors backyard.From value, to quality to portion size; don’t sleep on this place!

Everything was great!! We ordered oxtails, j*** chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. Also got a beef patti and Mac n cheese. I have no complaints!! Everything was so good. Definitely going back while I’m here for work

Beautiful little Jamaican restaurant. We stopped because of the high reviews - well worth it!!! Food was amazing. Flavorful and - I’m sure - traditional, since the people who own it / work here are from Jamaica. Five stars.

Amazing food and very wonderful staff...I know it's 5 star rating, but If I could, I would definitely give them a 10!!!!! This establishment is a definite must try!!!

AMAZING customer service, AMAZING FOOD! As soon as walking into the door the staff was friendly, the food was nothing short of delicious. Tried today based on coworker recommendations and will be SURE to return, when working back in the area.

The food is absolutely AMAZING! I was going to get my ox tails to go but the music was right, the dining space was very welcoming. I'll be back again with company. Next up is the J*** Shrimp (cooked to order).
