This is the first review I’ve written in years
Wife asked if she could change the sauce that came with a sushi roll from eel sauce to spicy mayo and the server made a huge deal about it saying shit like “we’ve never had someone ask that before that’s weird” even though it was clearly able to be put in the ticket since the receipt had it printed on there. Wife had been having a rough week at work and this was our date night to ease some stress and she ended up making my wife cry at dinner. I calm my wife down just for them to bring out the sushi with no sauce at all on it just thrown on a plate. Server then said, “the sauce is on the inside of the roll” like I’ve never had sushi before. There was no sauce anywhere to be seen on it.

The food was terrible
The resturant was very cold, the service was extremely slow. I found a hair in my food. The food wasn't even hot. I won't be back. Awful!

Up front, we ate here for lunch and ordered off the menu…not at the hibachi grill, which apparently was a huge mistake. Possibly the worst experience at a Japanese steakhouse I can possibly imagine. The salad with ginger dressing was WAY over dressed and covered in store bought croutons. I ordered the tuna Kobe lunch which I figured was hibachi style. I requested rare tuna when asked by the waitress. The tuna was borderline jerky it was so well done. The rice was terrible, I’ve had Uncle Ben’s that tasted more authentic to a Japanese steakhouse. Bottom line, if you’re in the mood for the TV dinner version of microwaved Japanese food, this might be the place for you.

If you have ever been to a Japanese Steakhouse before, be prepared to be disappointed. My family had the Imperial dinner, which consists of steak chicken and shrimp. $40 a person, the protein portions are 4 oz of each. Definitely feels like we overpaid for small portions of meat and a lot of undercooked crunchy rice. There are no noodles that come with the dinner, which is traditionally normal at most steakhouses , The carrots are obviously canned vegetables. And we got none of the traditional tricks from a Hibachi chef, the onion volcano, the egg catch in the Hat, Etc. The Saving Grace was the young server named Morgan, who was very graceful. Spoke with the manager Tony, and he tried to ration why five people ordered steak dinners, but they only cooked three steaks on the grill because each person was only allocated 4 oz. You can get a 12-oz steak at the Outback for $14. This place is overpriced and does not fulfill what you would expect a traditional Japanese Steakhouse to be. My family will not return. My total check for three people before tip was $180 we all lived hungry and disappointed.

We just left this Kobe steakhouse. We have one near us in nh which we love. However the waitstaff here that we got was very rude and seemed annoyed the whole time. I ordered a fouble titos and soda with lime if you google it is clearly shows it's made with soda water. She brought me one with just coke. When I pointed out nicely that I ordered a titos and soda she said "yeah thats sode you didn't say what kind" okay fine maybe she didn't understand it but when I asked for how it's supposed to be made she roll her eyes and took it back. Then the bartender came over and asked if I ordered a titos and soda which I did but she said that's not how they do it. Okay no big deal explained it's with soda water. If googled it says it and many places all over I have been to on this trip do it even outback right down the road. Outside of this we asked if they have g/f soy sauce which they do because my husband has celiac. She again seemed annoyed by us. We ordered and food was delish that and the chef who did my hibachi was also great. My husband ot food from the back which wasnt the right food but we didnt want to bother them as we were already upset to be made to feel like we were a inconvenience. The waitress came back right after he was done making food and dropped boxes then the bill. At this point we have been in the restaurants 30 minutes or so and decided to just take our food. Looking at the bill further she added gratuity for herself and didn't even mention it. The drink they also made wrong i was charged for too but i didnt even want to mention it. I just wanted to leave after how I felt. Im glad I read everything or I may have added more and not realized. Super disappointing being on vacation spending 100 + dollars 2 people and having that kind of dining experience.

Overall a good visit. I've eaten here twice over the last three months and the first time was really good, but let night was just good. I love a good fried rice and the rice last night didn't have the flavor it needed. Very few eggs were used (2) and very little butter was used, which is an important part to great fried rice. The Seasoning was also lacking some, but it was edible, the server was very good and attentive and the pricing is good too.

For starters this was my first experience going to a Japanese steakhouse (which I've been itching to try one) and to be honest it wasn't the worst but it wasn't the best either. Parking was IMPOSSIBLE!! I literally drove around for 10minutes trying to wait for a parking spot to become available and when it did it was further out from the restaurant so be mindful that the parking lot is super small. When my guest & I finally got in we had to wait 20 minutes for a station for the live meal (which wasn't too bad since talking made it go by fast). When we finally got to the table the waitress greeted us then got us our drinks. I got a drink from the bar which was AMAZING! Our chef was very boring & dull like he didn't want to be there at all. We didn't get any tricks , laughs, excitement or entertainment AT ALL. He acted as he was over his job . Which really sucked because I wanted to try a place like this for the excitement & entertainment from the chef. The chef literally cooked our food & walked away. Which sucks because they automatically add a tip to your bill which I didn't feel like he deserved. So keep that in mind people before eating here. My bill was too high for the service I received.

Food had way too much pepper for me. I couldn't eat much of it. My husband will have leftovers for lunch.

The food was expected from a Japanese steakhouse. Nothing special. While they did correct our sushi order there was some push back from the manager and server. But overall not bad.

Went there a couple of weeks ago and I would of gave it all five stars. Went there today got there around 220. And got told that the grill is closed until they open back up. The sign on the doors don't say it's closes until 3 not 215.

Worst. Service. Everrrrr!! Messed up my order and never refilled our drinks 1 time. I would not have left a tip as our server did mot deserve 1, however, umfortunately gratuity is added in, no mattee the size of the party. Left very disappointed amd will have a hard time going back. Do better. Too expensive of an experience to be leaving so frustrated.

There were so many orders that were wrong. The chef had to continue to ask for extra food to make right a few times. Everyone else around the hotels had small discounts or military discounts. This place had nothing. Spending $200, I'd expect that level of an establishment.
