The owner couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. It’s a great coffee shop with all you need. Great variety of coffee drinks, tea, and smoothies. Food menu includes cheesy biscuits, cookies, muffins and more. This is a great edition to Down East. Will definitely be back!
The iced cold brew is amazing, as are the cheesy biscuits. My wife and I absolutely love this coffee shop.
I recently tried Eastern Perk for the first time and I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu. I had an Iced Chai Tea Latte, Oatmeal Cookie and a Cheese Biscuit. Yum!

Captain's Cup Coffee Shop is a charming café that gives off the welcoming atmosphere as if the owner has fulfilled a dream. The coffee specialties and baked goods, including sugar-free options, are made in-house. The staff is super friendly and incredibly nice with a bright and sunny demeanor. It is an absolute must stop on your travels, whether getting off the ferry, going to the ferry, or just nearby. The menu offers a variety of food such as cheesy biscuits, sausage biscuits, muffins which are to die for, cinnamon rolls, and bagels with fillings. The coffee, including cold brew, lattes, vanilla, and mocha, is a delightful treat and amazing. The customer service is friendly and welcoming, making it an excellent place to stop by on the way to or from the Outer Banks Ferry.
