“This spot has the most rustic view inside, and a great view of the outside terrain. It was an incredible writing spot. However, the music got loud with punk rock dropping f bombs. It ruined the writing mood and I was surprised they let that fly with a bunch of young kids in the shop.”

“Ok… hear me out… GET THE BURGER! I know what you’re thinking “a burger at a Mexican restaurant?!?!” I am a burger enthusiast and this has been the best most flavorful burger I have had since I’ve moved to North Carolina! We went in for lunch around 11 on Sunday. It was nice to find a restaurant open on Sunday, since it’s not very common. The building is run down, but so is most of Liberty. They have spruced it up given the circumstance. They greeted us very quickly and were super friendly! We were the only people in the front eating area but I was told there is another large area in the back too. Throughout the entire time we were there, we were checked in on regularly, when other staff walked by they also said hello and greeted us, it was great!! We usually try something simple and share when we try a new restaurant. We got a burger and fries, and a single taco. While we are waiting for food, I noticed in their cooler what looked like Horchata, but I didn’t see it on the menu. Our server noticed us looking around and came to ask if we needed anything and we got a glass of that. My husband said it was fantastic! Reminded him of the local places in Arizona we used to go to. When our food came out, the burger was hot and huge! Came with even more than what was listed, but it was delicious! The fries were crinkle cut, which aren’t my favorite. My husband said that the taco surprisingly didn’t have much flavor but at the end of the day we didn’t care because of how delicious the burger was. We will definitely be back to get the burger again and try a few more things.”

Parking: They don't have alot of parking in front but you can park on side of the road which isn't that bad cause you are off the road”

“I saw one worker pick up chicken tenders off the floor and the owner told them to throw it back in the fryer . My burger tasted freezer burnt fries were cold like they weren't done . One man was sexually harassing this young girl who worked there and the owner didn't do anything. I will never eat here again this place needs to be shut down . I will be contacting the health department in regards to the owner telling workers to pick up food off the floor and putting it back in the fryer. Susie doesn't need to be running a business the way she treats her workers.”

“Have been eating Maria’s since we moved in 3 years ago, their pizza is amazing! I do have a few notes as to why I didn’t give it 5 stars. I’ve noticed over the years their wings and garlic bread have been inconsistent (size/flavor). The wings were really good when I first tried them, nowadays they’re too fried, the sauce won’t stick on them or they’ve forgotten the sauce. Either way I do recommend their pizza it’s never failed me.
