I’ve got to give a shoutout to Brad Halling American Whiskey Ko (BHAWK) in Southern Pines. This place really has it all. Inside it’s got that modern whiskey-bar vibe—warm wood, barrels, and cozy lighting that makes you want to hang out for a while. Outside is just as good with fresh air and comfortable seating, perfect when the weather’s nice.

BHAWK Distillery must be visited if you are in the Southern Pines, NC area. The facilities are first-class. The drinks and food are excellent, and staff is welcoming and informative. Our tour guide Kathleen was excellent. Brad's story is amazing and inspiring. We will be back when visiting family in Seven Lakes, NC. Cheers!
This place is known for having the best chicken sandwich and brunch in southern pines and it is no lie. They are also unmatched for their friendly and passionate staff. I definitely recommend the tour and tasting if you don’t know the history behind why Brad opened BHAWK.
