“Store and employees are great. Crumbl needs to step up now. Quit changing everything. It has gotten to the point where you have so many ingredients that the cookies are like everything bagels…..everything but the kitchen sink. Then when a cookie is rated good it never gets back in the queue again. Then you took away the milk chocolate chip cookie and the new chocolate chip cookie has a weird flavor. The original chocolate chip cookies were perfect!“

“Holly was such a pleasure to work with. I shared my ideas for a luau theme & she created the most gorgeous cake. Everyone was blown away by how beautiful it was! Not only that, but it tasted incredible!! The chocolate buttercream was delicious, the marble cake was so moist, the colorful vanilla buttercream outside with the flowers…everything was so, so yummy!! Holly even delivered to our vacation home, which was amazing & helped me out so much!“

And to step into his bakery is well...PROOF. He takes his business seriously to say the least. Professional is key word here. “I cannot say enough wonderful things about Debra and Icing on the Cakes in Kitty Hawk, NC! I had preordered a German chocolate cake for my dad’s 75th birthday, which we were planning to celebrate on the second day of our beach vacation. Unfortunately, when we arrived at our rental, it turned out to be uninhabitable. After hours of back-and-forth with the rental company, we made the difficult decision to drive 5 hours back to my dad’s home instead.

I reached out to Debra to let her know we wouldn’t be able to pick up the cake the next day since we were leaving the area. She told me she had just finished baking it and, with the kindest heart, offered to ice it right away so we could grab it on our way out of town. An hour later, we had a beautifully finished German chocolate cake in hand.

Not only was Debra incredibly accommodating and compassionate, but the cake itself was absolutely delicious—rich, moist, and hands down one of the best German chocolate cakes we’ve ever had. She truly went above and beyond, and thanks to her, we were still able to celebrate my dad’s milestone birthday in a special way. Highly recommend!“
