Castucci's Italian Restaurant

Discussed an allergy with our waiter and while the accommodation was made, the entree was very disappointing and had to be sent back. Since it had taken a very long time to receive it in the first place, we weren’t able to wait for a second attempt. Our bill was adjusted but no apologies were made and it seemed to be my fault for not being able to eat from the main menu in terms of the overall impression.

Holy smokes! I went in there on Thursday 07/24/25. The food was UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS. I havent had Italian food like That since I left Chicago. I forgot to take pics cause I was so excited about the food when it arrived. When I tasted the sauce I almost passed out. I ordered the chicken marsala. My husband had the braised beef ravioli special and the others had gnocchi, and chicken florentine. EVERYTHING was 5 stars superb. I'll definitely be back next time we are in town. Great job. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Also, my husband was a chef in downtown chicago, and i am also a chef from downtown Chicago and I've been teaching in culinary school since 2013. We know good food.... THIS PLACE HAS IT!!!!

I paid 9.00 for a once of cake that was a sliver..4 bits..tops..small bits..did not realize until I got home..never again

Ordered from them on Friday June 13th for delivery, after order showed picked up by Door Dash I got an order cancellation notice and they said they were making our order again. Second order showed picked up and then got a cancellation notice. Funny thing that I was charged twice for two orders that were supposedly ordered and picked up and then canceled and we didn’t receive either after two hours of waiting. Only one order was refunded and I was still charged for one. That will be my last time ever ordering from them.

Very busy on a Sunday night. Good bread. Lasagna very good. Seafood pasta just average. Clams were literally the size of dimes. Salad not included with main course.

They messed up our food in a to go order, I called to let them know, a week later they replaced the meal and put in an extra lemon piece of cake. If you ever eat anything at this place. Eat the lemon cake!!! What wonderful people and they always try to give the best customer service. Seems rare these days. Just the best!

We tried this place about 3 years ago because I thought to try it. I am glad we did!! We have eaten in vastly more expensive Italian places but NONE as good, let alone better! I "wore an apron" off and on for the better part of 60 years, and ran a dining hall in the military, and Castucci's is the BEST! Whenever we come to Oak Island, we reserve one night positively to come here!!!

On vacation with my husband and we stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night. We didn’t have a reservation but they were kind enough to find us a table. The food was AWESOME! We had calamari appetizer and my husband had the chicken parmigiana and I had the eggplant parmigiana. We finished with tiramisu and something peanut butter. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend- better call ahead to reserve a table.

Ronda was the absolute funniest person! You have to talk to Ronda when you go!! She literally made us cackle the whole time! Also the eggplant parm was tasty :)

We ordered takeout last minute on a Sunday night. Food was hot and fresh. Rhonda was so sweet to my husband and daughter when they went in to pick it up. I got the chicken francaise and it’s was so delicious but the star of the show is the bread! ? so good!
