Has a nice view to the Atlantic and Oak Island. Regarding the food, the menu seemed limited for an area touting their seafood. My wife got a flounder plate, it came with fries and coleslaw, $28. Fries came out hot, the slaw was so so and the flounder was a good size portion but well over-fried. I got a grouper po-boy. 1st time here. McKenzie took good care of us. I could have stood a drink refill but she did offer drinks to go. Crab cake plate was what I had. 3 large cakes was a bit much to eat. I got 1.5 down. Fried small potatoes were good, but the skin was tough on some.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Frying Pan. The view was beautiful! As soon as we sat down, they brought out complimentary hush puppies (similar to bread service at other restaurants). They were a definite 5/5—so good that even I, as someone who doesn't typically like hush puppies, really enjoyed them.
Our server was excellent (4.5/5). She was friendly, gave great recommendations when we asked, and was very attentive, keeping our drinks full and checking in often....
