Some of the staff was not nice and a little pushy even after us spending almost 300 per couple. Food has gotten worse the last two times we have eaten there. It's not like we are regulars and the visits have been months apart . That being said you pay for the atmosphere.

What a huge disappointment and waste of money. Our reservation was for 7:00 PM on a weeknight. Parking was very difficult. The lot has restricted parking for residents and commercial facilities and parking space was very limited.

We were seated immediately but appetizers and salads came an hour later. We waited an additional hour for entrees and when the entrees came they were not good. Bland, tasteless, overcooked, and the sauces were subpar to grocery store jar sauce. The pasta was gummy, tasteless and overcooked. The lasagne was mushy, no layers, just a lump of overcooked meat with some pasta and zero flavor. Utterly disappointing. The chicken parm was mediocre, the shrimp scampi tasteless. Of the 8 people, not one finished their meal. We would never eat there again. There are really good Italian restaurants in the Wilmington area - Joseph’s is not one of them.

We had the best meal tonight!! Fresh fish, pasta, and steaks everything was cooked to perfection and our server Marquis was phenomenal he made the whole dining experience wonderful even for our party of 14. Can’t wait to go back!

It was our Anniversary and we were told wonderful things about this place. Definitely met our standards and what others had told us! The service was excellent by our 2 servers (one was in training). Very personable, efficient and made suggestions on how to make our Anniversary special. I had the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc which was excellent. Then I started with escargots which was to die for and then rack of lamb. There were a lot of lamb ribs and they were cooked just the way I ordered it. Came with very good mashed potatoes.
My husband had steamed mussels and the duck. He wished there was a little more duck on the plate but he loved both the appetizer and main meal.
We brought home a piece of the Creme Brulee cheesecake which was very good and rich.

I don’t understand all the good food reviews. Unfortunately this was the worst shrimp scampi and carbonara pasta I’ve ever had. The carbonara was over the top oily and made with bacon and way too many sweet onions. Definitely not traditional. And the shrimp scampi had no flavor. It also was not a traditional scampi flavor. Neither dishes were worth taking home. The staff was friendly and the views beautiful but that was about it. We also had to send back our mussels because they were fishy tasting.
