My family and I love this restaurant. It has become a tradition during our visits to Oak Island/Southport. The service is excellent and the food is well-prepared and well-presented. This would be a five-star review but for one thing; the Italian mobster decor. Looking a mug-shots of violent criminals while I eat does not enhance my dining experience. As common (and unimaginative) as this is, I do not understand why any Italian restaurant would want to put the worst of Italian...

Food was really good, a little pricey but good for the money. Sauce was good but salty. We got extra sauce and it was different from what was on our food but it was good overall. Would go again

We have been going to the island for over 10 years. Joseph's is always a family tradition. The food is absolutely 5-Star but let's talk about the service.... Absolutely amazing staff. Over the years I have noticed its the same staff in the restaurant, so that tells me the owners must be absolutely amazing on taking care of their staff. This doesn't mean leave a less tip, because they are the best. Keep up the great reputation Joseph's and we will see you next...
