The oysters are a bit pricey, but the atmosphere here is good, so I don't mind. What I like best are the cocktails—they're cheap and good. Ms. Vani provided very enthusiastic service

First thing we do on any visit to Southport or Oak Island is find our way over to Moore St Oyster Bar.
World class Bloody Mary shooters, Steamed Crabs and always a delicious raw oyster selection (try their in house hot sauce collection with the oysters)
We love camping out at the bar on every visit.
Robust tap beer selection featuring local NC brewers and a great bourbon collection.

This place was a total lifeline for my fiancee and I when driving in to visit Southport. It seemed to be the only place serving good food at 9PM and boy did it deliver! We even came back the next day for lunch when we were walking through town and saw the sign for BBQ chicken tacos, which were one of the best things we ate all trip. For dinner we had pickle fries (which we ordered again the next day... so good), fish and chips, and a burger. All of it was delicious and our server...
