I ordered the Shepherd pie which had about 4 tablespoons of ground lamb and the rest mashed potatoes. My wife’s entree was very small with just a minimal amount of seafood.
The sever was very nice, but was new. She served our entree and salad (salad was the size of a fruit bowl) at the same time. The chef refused to keep our entree warm in the kitchen due to space in the kitchen. The restaurant was not busy at this time.
We did enjoy the atmosphere and server, who was very pleasant. Overall, not a very good value.

We would have went in on the fifth, but it appears that you were closed that day so Google (ai) may have redirected us to the wrong place after all I have updated my review. Thank you for letting me know that the information was incorrect.

Went to bar and immediately told can’t get to you for at least 10 or more minutes. Not hi - welcome in or a hello. Restaurant 1/2 empty and other patrons whispered same type of service comment with same surprise of service welcome. Had been looking forward to finally trying out but was a very strange experience. Just hey - short staffed backed up - would have worked.

I've eaten here many times over the years and my most recent visit was the best. Outstanding food, cocktails, and service at a commensurate price. The chef and staff are now firing on all cylinders.

There's an old world decor with a varied menu from Shrimp and Grits to Curry Chicken. It was a little surprising there was no steak option. The waitress was very attentive but the food quality was not what I expected.

Only 4 tables with 2 people each and it still took almost 30 minutes for our food to come out.

New Year's Eve visit. Fixed menu. Couldn't have been better. We were seated at a comfortable table, service was friendly and attentive, and food was expertly prepared. The only glitch ... they don't accept American Express. We will certainly visit again. Recommended.

My girlfriend took me here for lunch on my birthday.
The Korean chicken appetizer we shared was very good. I ordered the Reuben sandwich which was one of the daily specials. Absolutely one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had. The corned beef was dry and tough like shoe leather. I had to use a steak knife to cut it and even then with difficulty. The sandwich as a whole had very little flavor. Our waiter was friendly enough but not very attentive or experienced.

Best food I have had in a long time! I normally go to Island Way, but the fried green tomatoes app and german special short ribs were to die for! Service was top notch and the chef even came out and made sure everything was delicious. No complaints. Will definitely be returning!

Not as advertised — recent holiday “special event” was none of that… Normal menu, drinks, etc… No notice…. No apology… Nothing… Felt like the ol “bait & switch” routine. Won’t be back.

Our family of 6 adults and 1 baby walked into Ports of Call Bistro for lunch and Lori asked how many. We said 6 and a high chair. Her response was “well we only have one server”. She didn’t clarify if she was asking if we were okay with a longer wait/slower service or if she was asking us to leave. We would have been fine to deal with slower service but I asked Lori if she was telling us to go elsewhere and she said she would be right back and walked to the back.

I needed to feed my 9 month old, so I asked Scott at the bar if he would mind to give me a half a mug of hot water to warm his bottle. He was pouring wine, so I anticipated that I may need to wait a moment. Instead, Scott said “you’re going to have to wait, I’m busy here.” It was beyond rude.

I’ve literally never been somewhere and experienced that kind of rudeness.

We didn’t even wait for Lori to come back, we left and went down to the Blue Cow Grille. The employees there were AMAZING and so accommodating.

10/10 do not recommend Port of Call. Spend your money elsewhere.
