We were on vacation in Wilmington NC and decided to make a day trip to Southport which is 50 minutes away. While in Southport we were trying to find a good restaurant for lunch and Southport Smokehouse did not disappoint! We had the pulled pork, coleslaw, mac n cheese and collard greens. They have a great variety of BBQ sauces so there’s something for everyone no matter your preference… sweet, spicy, tangy, etc. The pulled pork and sides were so delicious with the exception...

I live this smoke house! The hush puppies are my favorite dish here! The only thing I would pick-on is the atmosphere. There is tight parking, and the restaurant is often packed. (I wouldn't blame them since they're such a good place to go!) I just wish there was more seating. This is one of my favorite restaurants here in NC

I am writing to share what a wonderful experience I had at your restaurant while visiting my friend Missy in Southport for her birthday.

It was a true pleasure to enjoy authentic Southern cooking that we simply cannot find back home in New Jersey. I ordered the combination plate with brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, and potato salad. The brisket and ribs were insanely tender and delicious.

Beyond the food, the customer service was top-notch....
