Very disappointed to hear this wonderful restaurant is closing! People remember us in hurricane ravaged areas! When these things happen, it takes more than a week for us to recoup what we lose. Understand the suffering goes on looong after the cameras turn off. When you hear about places being damaged, plan on going by and supporting local businesses like this one! Now WE all are losing out!
So sad that today was their last day. Hope their future is prosperous and full of passion.
Very simple, not consistent. No definite hours. They,re closed more than open. Erratic hours. Food is ok, just ok.
Always wonderful food and lots of menu choices!
Taylor Cafe was recommended for breakfast in Southport, with buttermilk pancakes on the menu. Unfortunately, not all ingredients were available on the morning of my visit, but the sweet potato pancakes did not disappoint. Cooked to order, with an egg on top!
Absolutely love this place!!! The staff is amazing! Delicious food! Her purple waffles are the best! Catch Sunday for the special brunch menus
Staff and food both wonderful! Interesting menu options as well as traditional.
Eggs Benedict overcooked -- were like hard boiled. Replacements were better, but 2d Canadian bacon and English muffin were underdone and rubbery (originals were nice and slightly crisp.) Hollandaise was thin and watery. My own homemade are far better.
went in for lunch,, had a bill for over $60 for 5 people, had a gift Certificate for $25 that was bought less than 2 weeks ago and they said that they dont take them any more
Great hidden gem, breakfast was amazing. Wife loved her sweet potato pancakes and I loved my omelet while stealing wife's country style THICK bacon. Service was great.

The cheeseburger is massive, juicy and really good tasting. Also liked the Ruben sandwich even if no kraut but yummy rye bread with lots of caraway seeds!
Great food, great service! Never a bad experience!
The theme is purple; cups, wall coloring, tablecovering. Very attractive breakfast pricing. Wait staff solicitous. Breakfast ites tasty. Weak coffee.
Good Philly style cuisine but still need fresh Philly rolls. Best I have found in SE NC or Myrtle Beach areas.
Best place to eat at in town I love the fried chicken and pork chops. And the fried bologna sandwich with eggs
