“One of the only places to eat in Sparta in my opinion. Menu is a little limited so not a place for everyday dining but we try to go here a few times out of the week. Service is great and we absolutely love the charming small restaurant experience. We have been going here for years and they always share a smile and treat us as if we are family.”

“first time here on a recommendation from a guy in town at a fast food place. I will say sitting area inside is a little small BUT the service and GREAT food made up for it. the waitress that waited on us was friendly and came by to check on us regular. We had breakfast with them. and it was great. much much better than some of the larger chain restaurants we have eaten at. Did I say the food was great. I,m hard to please when it comes to my eggs and pancakes. but they did a great job. we will definitely stop again when we are back in the area. Thanks again the Lipscomb crowd”

“We can’t get enough of La Casa Bonita! We’ve ate here for lunch, dinner and even breakfast (on the weekends)! The food is amazing - a blend of familiar Mexican dishes and less known authentic Mexican dishes, all delicious. My kids (who tend to be picky eaters) have even branched out and tried new dishes, loved them, and keep asking to go back for more. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff is friendly and helpful. So thankful to have another restaurant option in our little town of Sparta 😃”

“Cash only! There are no signs to tell you this. There is no air conditioning inside the restaurant, so it's best to call it in or just wait in your car. The food was good, although we were given a 25 min estimate time it was closer to 50min before it was completed. We only ordered two chicken dinners and a vegetable dinner. They seemed a little unorganized, but overall, it was okay.”

“The food was excellent got the trio platter. Chopped salad and a burger with dessert of blueberry cobbler. Even sitting near the bar area the live music was still so loud our waitress couldn’t hear us when ordering. The band was nice but a little loud. Would definitely recommend stopping in for food in you’re in the area.”

I am gluten free, dairy free, and egg free—eating out can be hard and pizza is basically a no-go. Pizzeria had a gluten free cauliflower crust that was actually good! I skipped the cheese and added a couple extra toppings for a genuinely tasty pizza, even with all my restrictions. Thanks Pizzeria!

Note—I am NOT celiac, and am fine with cross contamination. If you have a severe allergy, obviously consult the staff, but for my slight intolerances, everything was a-ok (and good)!”
