Stopped here when on a drive of the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Place was very busy. Tried a number of menu items. All were good. Reuben sandwich was excellent! Keep in mind their hours are limited serving lunch only. They close for the season in November until Spring. General store is next to cafe offering cheese, beer & wine soft drinks., snacks and souvenirs.

Quiche was delicious! Hubby enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich too. Very quaint, picturesque, friendly staffed place. Wait was short.

Well, that's not true that it's ALL I can say. From my Trip Advisor research, this was a planned stop for me and my husband on the way to Sugar Mountain for a few days of traveling up the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain and fall leaf peeking...and YES, it was THE leaf peak week there, just last week! Place was so packed, that we got our lunch to go. It was ready very quickly, the staff is very friendly and on-the-ball. I had a fabulous fire roasted veggie sandwich on their house made foccacia bread that was to die for! My husband had what he described as one of the best Reuben sandwiches he has ever eaten. The corned beef was so lean and tender that it almost melted in your mouth. Oh, and don't miss the potato salad as a side. My, oh my. Days later, we are still talking about how yummy it was. It's only a short trip away from home, so we will definitely be back, and back, and back.....lol. If I could, I'd give them 10 stars!!!

The signage in Little Switzerland is atrocius...also, if you plan to visit in early Sept.....DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.... almost everything is closed by 4pm(3 pm in some cases)....and don't bother asking for help.. locals seem oblivious to the revenue generated by tourists...and had one of them berate my wife for asking directions(after blowing her horn in disgust cause we were pulled off road to check a map...wife got out to asked directions and got an earful)...The staff at the Swiss shop were great...but...it will be a LONG TIME(IF EVER) before we return...

I'm watching my sugar intake so ordered a kids sized sherbet but was told only kids could have that size.

This tiny little town is off the beaten track, but the restaurant most certainly makes it worth the trip! They have four picnic table outside that allow dogs (which is great for us), and plenty of indoor seating too. The smoked trout appetizer was delightful, as was the trout BLT. They have a great beer selection. Our waitress was fun and friendly, and gave us great recommendations. They even have a menu for dogs! Everything was fun, tasty, and priced right.

We were walking different trails and this restaurant was in between. We stopped to check out the shops and the menu looked good, so we stopped for lunch. So glad we did!!! It was a very delicious lunch and we look forward to stopping there the next time we are in town.

This restaurant is amazingly great!! Large selections for lunch and delicious desserts. Beautiful scenery around the area of Lil Switzerland, plenty of shopping nearby as well.

Shops were nice but there seemed be too few.

Good ice cream. Very chill vibe. More elderly crowd.

Decent enough. However, if you tend to not frequent establishments where the owners show their political leanings through the sale of political merchandise this place may not be for you. Bumper stickers galore.I do not care about your politics. D, R or I. And yes, it's your right to display whatever you choose Having said that, I'm there for coffee and pastries and if you insist on putting your political views on display for me to see, no thank you.
