Wow! We were traveling through the area and looking for something besides a chain restaurant. This one had good reviews and now I know why. The food was simply amazing.
We stopped for lunch on a weekday and although they were busy we didn’t wait for a table. We were seated quickly. Nice enough place, but the food was only marginal. We started off with the cheese curds. The oil used for frying them tasted old which made the curds taste old. The marinara sauce had little taste, I've had better out of a bottle. I had the chicken cacciatore. The pasta was good, but the chicken and the sauce were both very bland tasting.
