Being from California, I have been searching the entire East Coast for a Mexican food restaurant that actually knows how to cook REAL Mexican food, it took me five years but I finally found La Familia here in Statesville and they DO NOT DISAPPOINT! Best tacos in Statesville and friendly service each and every time-- even when it's packed out. (Or ask for fries topped with grilled onions, carne asada, and cheese for a fry nacho of sorts!! Absolutely delicious)
