The best BBQ in town chopped when u order hush puppies are great and burgers are grilled and taste great and slaw ,well u have to go and see what I'm talking about . They have been around a long time and know what there doing .
On a trip to NC for a wedding, stopped in on a whim 30 mins before closing. Staff and patrons were friendly and down-to-earth. Food was excellent! Old school charm and great folks. Will return.
Walking in, you can feel the friendliness of the place. It is a small, very clean "hole-in-the-wall" type place. They serve both Carolina (vinegar based) and Lexington (vinegar with tomato). I'm not a fan of vinegar based sauces, but my husband liked it. The part of the bbq without sauce was delicious, and I wish I had gotten it without sauce.
